Code of Conduct

ProTechs, Professional Technologies Sweden AB (The Company), operates on a foundation of values based on human rights, democracy, and free and open discussion. We are committed to adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and directives, as well as acting appropriately in situations where written rules are absent. We respect internationally recognized human rights and commit to complying with laws and regulations concerning the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child in Sweden and other countries.

We Conduct Business Fairly and Legally
Conducting business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations is fundamental to sustainable success and the best way to protect our reputation.

Anti-Corruption, Including Gifts and Entertainment
Corruption involves abusing power or position for personal gain. A common form of corruption is bribery. Corruption is not only illegal but also has severe negative consequences. It harms societies, hinders economic development, and undermines democratic institutions and moral foundations.
As a company, we oppose corruption. All forms of corruption, including bribery, are strictly prohibited. We do not pay, offer, or accept bribes or other undue advantages, such as gifts or entertainment that could be considered excessive, to influence business decisions or secure improper benefits. We do not work with suppliers, vendors, or partners who offer bribes or are involved in corrupt activities.

Combating Money Laundering
Money laundering enables criminals and others to conceal the source of funds obtained illegally. These funds may originate from or support activities such as human trafficking, drug trade, terrorism, extortion, or fraud. We do not facilitate or support money laundering.

We safeguard company information and assets
Our information and assets are essential to our work and our business, and we all must protect and manage them appropriately.

Safeguarding people, information, products and assets
Each of us is responsible for understanding our obligations in this area and for living up to expectations expressed in our policies. As our business faces security threats, a dedicated workforce is our best protection. We care for each other’s safety. We are mindful of security when collecting, sharing and using data and we protect Protech’s assets, including physical and financial assets.

Confidential information
We all have an obligation to protect information Protech considers confidential. Theft or unauthorized use or disclosure could significantly hurt our and/or our customers’ businesses. This includes any nonpublic information about our processes, products, innovation and financial or strategic plans or position.

We respect and care for one another
Respect for others is a vital part of establishing a healthy working environment and considering the impact of our actions on others.

Health and Safety
We believe that accidents, incidents, injuries, near misses, work-related illnesses, and unsafe conditions are often preventable. By prioritizing safety in planning and operations, we ensure that our work environment complies with applicable health and safety laws and requirements.

Against Discrimination, Promoting Diversity and Inclusion
We value diversity among employees and expect hiring managers to adhere to applicable anti-discrimination laws. Work-related decisions, including hiring, compensation, positions, promotions, disciplinary actions, terminations, and working conditions, must be based on individuals’ abilities or performance, not irrelevant personal factors.

Respect for Human Rights and Workers’ Rights
We respect internationally recognized human rights. We comply with applicable laws and agreements regarding working conditions, including working hours, rest periods, compensation, and benefits. We do not tolerate any form of modern slavery, such as forced labor, debt bondage, or human trafficking.
We respect children’s rights to personal development and education and do not engage in child labor. We uphold employees’ rights to join unions and engage in collective bargaining, while also respecting their choice not to join unions.

Reporting Grievances
We believe that a strong culture where we are not afraid to report wrongdoing is an important factor in our success. We also invite external third parties, including business partners, customers, suppliers, resellers, consultants and former employees, to report things that don’t seem right by contacting the CEO.

Our Conduct
We must always exercise sound judgment to ensure that neither The Company’s trust, good name, reputation, nor standing is compromised.
We do not misuse company property or act in ways that could call into question the impartiality of The Company or individual employees. We are clear about what is permissible and impermissible.
We treat one another with respect, regardless of ethnicity, disability, gender, religion, role, sexual orientation, social background, or age.
We respect each other and do not tolerate bullying or discrimination.
We encourage and support initiatives that promote well-being, even outside regular working hours.
